Coming to creative writing after retirement, Jerry Thurber has a passion for storytelling that shapes his creative life. He is a member of a weekly writing club, where he enjoys writing poems and short stories and is developing a novel about a post-apocalyptic Prescott. He is active in the local literary scene through AZ Wordsmith and the Paragon Bookstore open mic events and writes occasional articles for the Prescott Daily Courier.
